This will load on Friday, July 18th Schopflocher Alb Nature Conservation Center for a special evening hike. Under the motto “The Melody of the Bat”, nature lovers have the opportunity to explore the secrets of this fascinating animal world in Lenningen-Schopfloch between 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. The event is carried out in cooperation with the experienced cultural landscape guide Wolf Rühle.
But what can participants expect? During an evening walk, guests will not only observe the bats, but also make their ultrasonic calls audible using the latest technology. When played slowly, these calls sound surprisingly melodic and provide a very special listening experience.
Weather-dependent extras and registration
Another highlight of the event could be stargazing, but this is only possible if the sky is clear. Participation costs 10 euros, although prior registration is required by Monday, July 14th at the latest - either by phone or email. The organizers recommend bringing good shoes and warm clothing to fully enjoy the evening.
The Schopflocher Alb Nature Conservation Center doesn't just live from these special events. It offers a colorful range of experiences, including a permanent exhibition with 15 interactive stations that provide information about the biological and geological peculiarities of the Swabian Alb. Here visitors can discover the region's nature and breathtaking landscapes and actively engage with the environment.
