A cinema with tradition
Founded in 1993, this open-air cinema has developed into an indispensable part of Esslingen's cultural life. Like in previous years, the organizers are once again counting on the support of around 150 volunteers who put their heart and soul and commitment into making the organization and implementation possible. The association has ensured that health and safety aspects are also optimally regulated.
Last year's event attracted 16,800 visitors, which was quite an achievement given the unsettled weather. This result has prompted the organizers to look ahead optimistically and prepare for an equally successful season. “With one laughing eye and one crying eye,” club chairman Marko Ehrt commented on the positive mood among the audience and the great work of the volunteers. To the future you are excited and you definitely want more! Not least because the open-air cinema not only shows films, but also offers a community experience that brings people together. So then, let’s go to the castle and watch the film!
