Showers, thunderstorms and heavy rain: summer is on pause in Baden-Württemberg!
Summer in Baden-Württemberg is taking an unexpected break: starting today, the region will be hit by heavy showers and thunderstorms. The German Weather Service (DWD) announces that thunderstorms and heavy rain will spread from the west on Monday. Rainfall amounts of up to 40 liters per square meter per hour are possible, which could mean that some places could be severely affected. Weather forecast and impacts
Not only thunderstorms are expected over the course of Monday, but also long-lasting heavy rain, which will begin mainly from midday onwards.
