The pedelecist then fell on the road and presumably contracted a serious head injury. It is tragic that the person concerned did not wear a helmet, which probably tightened his injuries. He was immediately cared for and taken to the hospital on site, while the Karlsruhe traffic police now determined extensively on the course of the accident.
