Pure excitement: Uni-Liga Konstanz kicks through in the winter league!

The Konstanz University League is about to host its next big event: On Sunday, November 16, 2025, the university sports hall will be transformed into a pulsating center for indoor football. From 3:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., recreational soccer teams will compete against each other in the Champions League model, and it is the perfect opportunity for students and employees of Konstanz's universities to put their skills to the test.

A total of up to 32 teams have the opportunity to try their luck in futsal, with the registration deadline already closing on Wednesday, October 29, 2025. This year, the organizers, Hochschulsport Konstanz and uniEvent, started a healthy competition with the first teams on the previous match days on November 2nd, which will take the participants to the final on November 30th. The university league is very popular and many are hoping for the title.

Rules and game modes

A special appeal of the tournament lies in the applicable game rules: Since 2016, the teams have played in the “5-a-side” mode, with only 4+1 players active in the hall. Maximum team size is 12 players, which means that each player has no pressure to constantly be on the field.
