New campus in Lörrach: 40 million euros for innovation and growth!

A new ARaymond campus was inaugurated in Lörrach on Friday afternoon. With an investment volume of 40 million euros, this is a huge commitment to the region and will attract around 300 guests. Project manager Daniel Utz explained during the ceremonial opening that this campus is more than just a collection of buildings - it is intended to become a place of innovation and collaboration, which will significantly strengthen the bright minds in the company. Black Forest messenger reports on the promising plans behind this ambitious project.

The project marks a significant step for ARaymond to invest in the future {on the existing company premises in Lörrach}. In addition to the offices for administration, sales and development, a training center and an IT service center are also being built. Many existing buildings have to give way, with one exception: the historic old building on Teichstrasse will be renovated and converted into an ARaymond museum so that the company's history remains alive. Other new buildings include reception and office buildings, prototype production, a training center and a company restaurant. Jaumann publishing house explains the progress and the flexible, sustainable office concept with various workshop zones.

growth in the region

With the new campus, around 350 employees, around 50 more than before, have space for optimal collaboration. The planned modular parking garage will offer 210 parking spaces, further improving accessibility. Construction was scheduled to begin in October 2021, and the first phase of construction should be in full swing since the beginning of 2022 in order to achieve the goals in time for this big ceremony.

The importance of such investments in the regional economy cannot be overemphasized. According to data from the Federal Statistical Office, Lörrach's gross domestic product (GDP) is likely to benefit from such initiatives, which create jobs and thus also boost consumption. Developing stable economic data is important for making informed decisions and justifying investments. Destatis highlights that regional industrial engineers, such as those found here at ARaymond, contribute to the long-term stability of the infrastructure.

The inauguration of the new campus is not only a ray of hope for ARaymond itself, but also a positive signal for the entire region. Given the ongoing developments, Lörrach is well on the way to establishing itself as an attractive location for companies that value innovation and collaboration.
