The basketball world in Germany has a new name in the professional squadSYNTAINICS MBC: Moritz Heck. The 24-year-old, who has been active in the ProB with a dual license for the BSW Sixers in the last two seasons, will be a permanent member of the club's squad for the 2025/26 season. With this contract extension, the professional squad grows to nine permanent players, and there is also another dual licensed player in Mika Siegert. The SYNTAINICS MBC plans to field a total of twelve professionals and two dual licensed players in the coming season, which should stimulate competition within the team.
Moritz Heck, who looks quite impressive on the pitch with a height of 2.03 meters, has proven himself during his time with the BSW Sixers. In 51 appearances, he averaged 11.6 points per game and earned the trust of his new team. He came to Weißenfels in the summer of 2023 from the talent factory TEAM EHINGEN URSPRING. He played his first game in the Basketball Bundesliga on December 26, 2023 against Vechta, and just three weeks later he was able to record his first points against the Tübingen opponent.
