The graduates of the 2025 Abitur class in the Ostalbkreis passed their exams with flying colors. On July 8, 2025, the schools in Aalen, Ellwangen and the surrounding area celebrated their successful graduation ceremonies. The atmosphere was one of joy and excitement. At secondary schools such as the Schubart-Gymnasium Aalen, 38 students graduated with an overall grade of 2.2, with 14 prizes and 4 commendations being awarded. At Theodor-Heuss-Gymnasium, 74 graduates did excellently, with an overall grade of 2.1 and over a third graduated with an A before the decimal point.
Successes of the schools in detail
If you look at the performance of the various schools, you will notice that high grades were achieved everywhere. The Kopernikus-Gymnasium from Wasseralfingen also achieved an overall grade of 2.1. The Peutinger-Gymnasium Ellwangen celebrated 78 graduates, including Leni Schmid, who shone with a dream grade of 1.0. A total of 22 prizes and 12 commendations were awarded there. At St. Gertrudis High School, 67 graduates were honored and 26 prizes and 9 commendations were awarded. The Ernst-Abbe-Gymnasium Oberkochen has also proven that it works just as successfully, with 39 graduates and an overall grade of 2.2. Elisabeth Weber was also pleased to receive a grade of 1.0, and 12 prizes were awarded for particularly good performance.
