Last weekend, SV Mietingen caused a lot of excitement and atmosphere among the fans in the game against FV Bad Schussenried. How Schwäbische.de reported, the team leads the table after two matchdays with an impressive 10:2 goals and six points. Coach Philipp Lang praised his team's performance and was extremely positive about the successful start to the season.

The newly promoted team Bad Schussenried really wanted to score points in the game against Mietingen. In the first 20 minutes they were actually able to dominate the game and had several top-class chances, but there were still no unused opportunities. From the 21st minute onwards the tide turned and Mietingen took command.

Game history and highlights

The 363 spectators experienced pure drama when Roland Mayer made it 1-0 in the 36th minute. Just a few minutes later, in the 43rd minute, Christian Glaser put Mietingen further on course with his goal to make it 2-0. Bad Schussenried scored a goal in the 51st minute through Patrick Baur, but Mietingen was undeterred. A defensive error in the 58th minute led to Christian Glaser making it 3-1, who scored his second goal of the game. Elias Weller and Philipp Auer set the decisive exclamation mark with further goals in the following minutes and increased the score to 4:1 and 5:1. Christian Glaser once again set the final point with his third goal in the 78th minute, which made the final score 6-1.

Mietingen's line-up, which turned out to be strong despite the personnel changes, looked like this: Wiemer - D. Glaser, Rolser, Braunsteffer, Schirmer - Meneghini, Weller, Rondinella - C. Glaser, Mayer, Auer. The guests from Bad Schussenried played Eckel – D. Schmid, Marcel Liebhardt, Kraft, Haage – Gebhard, Halder, S. Liebhardt – Baur, Junker – F. Bonelli.
