On Sunday, October 5, 2025, Bettringen in Schwäbisch Gmünd will be the venue for a special musical festival. The Bettringen music association celebrates its traditional music festival under the motto “Beats, Brass & Brass Music”. The event promises a colorful program for the whole family, starting with a big parade at 10:30 a.m. The parade leads through “In der Vorstadt” and “Neue Straße” to the festival tent at the Uhlandschule and attracts over 30 groups who will ensure a good mood. This not only motivates the participants, but also brings the entire neighborhood together.

A special highlight of the festival is the exclusive champagne promotion, where participants can purchase a bottle for 125 euros. This is even decapitated live with a clarinet! What's unique is that buyers take part in a raffle that gives them the chance to win a music club concert at their desired location. The lucky winner gets to conduct the band personally - an experience that shouldn't be missed!

Culinary and other events

The culinary offerings in the festival tent will leave nothing to be desired. Regional and seasonal specialties promise culinary delights for every hunger. But that's not all: from 11 a.m. the Lautertal musicians' meeting will take place in Wißgoldingen, where a heated festival tent awaits visitors. In addition to brass music and party bands, the traditional festival is also on the program here. There will also be a parade, which rounds off the weekend perfectly.

In the afternoon, guests can immerse themselves in the shadow theater museum “Schattenreich”, which opens on the occasion of the festival. A second special exhibition will be on display here from 5 p.m., which will show, among other things, the plays “The Legend of the Fourth King” and “Macario” from the renowned Swiss puppet theater Demenga/Wirth. Admission is free and offers a nice end to the music festival.
