After a long dry spell of 25 years, the time has finally come again: Niederbühl invites you to the village festival on July 5th and 6th! This joyful event brings the entire village community together and makes many hearts beat faster. The motto of the festival, "From us. For you. From near and far.", reflects the solidarity and hospitality of the people of Niederbühl, who are looking forward to reviving old traditions.
The village festival takes place on the central village square on Grünewaldstrasse, where a diverse program is offered for young and old. The event will open on Saturday at 3 p.m. with a tapping of a barrel by Mayor Monika Müller, followed by musical sounds from the Niederbühl Music Association and a dance performance by GroKaGe Niederbühl. The anticipation is huge and the line-up promises an unforgettable evening with the party band Mad Max, followed by the Séan Tracy Band.
Culinary highlights and festival program
The culinary offerings promise to have something for every taste. The highlight is the traditional “Niederbühler horseradish meal”, which is served on the table for lunch on Sunday. Guests can also look forward to tarte flambée, salmon, fries and various grilled dishes. A real feast! Musical entertainment on Sunday will be provided by the morning pint with the Murgtäler Mundstückschlotzers at 11.30 a.m., before performances by “Junge Musizieren”, the Niederbühl primary school, the kindergarten and a line dance group in the afternoon will ensure a good mood. The festival will be rounded off with a final concert by the Baden Brass Band at 5:30 p.m.
A comprehensive security concept ensures that all visitors can enjoy the festival carefree. This includes, among other things, the use of security and barriers to secure the site. If you arrive by car, you will find parking options near the cemetery, the elementary school, the fire department and the sports hall. To avoid parking shortages, it is recommended to come by bike.
