On Tuesday morning, a tragic traffic accident occurred in Pfullingen (Reutlingen district) in which a 27-year-old man lost his life. According to information from SWR Aktuell, the driver of his electric car left the road on a straight road and crashed into a tree. Despite the rapid arrival of the police, fire brigade and rescue service, the emergency doctor could only determine that the young man was dead. He was traveling alone when he veered off the track to the left, although the exact cause of the accident remains unclear. The traffic police have started an investigation and called in an expert to clarify what happened. There is currently no evidence of the involvement of other road users or causative factors. But this is not the only serious accident that affected the Pfullingen region. On April 5, 2025, another tragic incident took place in which a 60-year-old motorcyclist died on Zeilstrasse. The motorcyclist collided with a BMW when the driver turned off Zeilstrasse towards the Ursulaberg tunnel. In this collision, the biker was thrown over the car and suffered such serious injuries that the emergency doctor could no longer help him on site. The driver, a 58-year-old, remained uninjured. Property damage amounting to around 20,000 euros was found, and here too the public prosecutor's office commissioned an expert to investigate the exact circumstances of the accident.
