Rheinuferfest 2025: Three days full of music and fun in Ludwigshafen!
On Friday, June 27, 2025, Mayor Jutta Steinruck will have this year'sRhine bank festivalceremoniously opened in Ludwigshafen. The event, which has the motto “Celebrate together by the water”, will attract numerous visitors to the banks of the Rhine from June 27th to 29th. Culinary delights and a colorful music program lurk here between the German Unity Square and Ludwigsplatz, providing great entertainment.
The festival offers a realFireworksof music and culture. The stage is played by several Palatinate cult bands, including the well-known groupsWoifeschdkanisch,The Anonymous GiddarishdeandGrand Malör– a highlight for fans of regional music. The program ensures the perfect mix of tradition and modern entertainment that delights young and old alike.
A colorful music program for everyone
The musical performances are a central part of the Rhine Bank Festival. The “Palatinate Summit Meeting” event started on Friday evening. In bright sunshine they made sureWoifeschdkanischfrom 6 p.m. for a good atmosphere, followed byThe Anonymous Giddarishdeat 8:15 p.m. and the final actGrand Malörat 10:15 p.m.
Saturday offered another musical highlight with RPR1's warm-up show from 6 p.m. The local hits rocked here and the loyal fans could count on the cover bandTreZ DiabloZ, the artist mix projectREVOC, as well as the AC/DC tribute productionWe salute yoube happy.
The last day of the festival on Sunday starts at 11 a.m. with a classical open-air performance by the German State Philharmonic of Rhineland-Palatinate. Under the direction of Simon Gaudenz and with the pianist Ying Li, the program includes works by Grieg and Dvorák - a truly contemplative break from the festivities.

Visitors can look forward to a wide range of offerings beyond music. TheWine loungepromises convivial hours with regional wines, while various food stalls ensure culinary indulgence. Entry to the Rhine Bank Festival is free.
Getting there is also easy. By bus and train you can reach the “Ludwigstraße” (train) or “Rhein-Galerie” (bus) stops, while drivers can find a parking space in the Rhein-Galerie Ludwigsafen parking garage or in the Walzmühle.
