Several Christmas babies were born in Rottweil on Christmas Eve. A warm greeting to the families of Miranya and other newborns.

For many, Christmas is a time of celebration and joy, but for some families it also means welcoming new life. This year, several babies were born in the region over the holidays. On December 24th, Christmas Eve, a total of five little Christmas angels were born - a reason to celebrate for the happy parents.
The first little Christmas princess,Miranya, was born at 4:56 a.m. in the Helios Clinic in Rottweil. With a weight of 2535 grams and a height of 48 centimeters, her parents Angel and Rajay are happy about their first child. At 3370 grams and 49 centimeters, she is the second child in her family.Asya Kilrounded off the Christmas opening on December 24th with her birth at 10:58 a.m. in the Tuttlingen District Hospital. It weighs 3600 grams and is 51 centimeters long. This means that the three newborn Christmas babies from Schwäbische are at the top of the list of Christmas births.
A “baby boom” during the holidays
But the holidays brought even more joy to the region's hospitals. In addition to the Christmas babies in question, three babies were born at the Helios Clinic Rottweil on December 23rd. Two more followed on December 24th:Lillia, who was born at 12:03 p.m. and weighing 3260 grams and 52 cm, as wellLeonie, which was born at 12:33 p.m. and weighed 2915 grams at 50 cm. The trend continued on December 26 when five more babies were born.

This good news is part of a larger trend, because according to [Destatis](https://www.destatis.de/DE/Presse/Pressreleases/ Zahl-der-Woche/2025/PD25_51_p002.html), the number of births at Christmas has, on average, remained relatively low over the last few years. An average of 1,470 babies were born on Christmas Eve in Germany over the last ten years. Christmas Day also remained below average with 1,445 births, while December 26 increased the number to 1,520. It turns out that family joys at the holidays also find their way to the clinics.
