Inner Court Festival 2025: From Rumba to Mad Zeppelin – the music highlights!
In the summer heat, the inner courtyard of the barn on Kalkofenstrasse in Villingen-Schwenningen again becomes the scene of a colorful hustle and bustle. From August 8th to 16th, 2025 - it is the 35th edition of the popular courtyard festival - there will be a lot of rocking, sparkling and grooves to ensure a good mood. Traditionally, the festival offers a wide range of musical styles from Afro-Funk to Ska to Rock, making it appealing to all tastes. The festival team, which has been working on the program since November, has made it its mission to inspire and entertain visitors.
The Italian band “Rumba de Bodas” will kick off on August 8th, followed by the unique “Collectif Medz Bazar” from Paris, who will have their only German concert in Villingen. On August 10th, the duo “Mackefisch” from North Rhine-Westphalia will provide enjoyable moments with their songwriter cabaret. It continues with “La Nefera” from Basel, which will perform Spanish rap on August 11th. For Balkan fans there will be “Skyline Green” from Nuremberg on August 12th, before the Hamburg trio “Trümmer” hits the stage on August 13th with a mixture of Hamburg school, New York punk and British indie. On August 14th, the Cuban musician Yarim Blanco will rock with his Tres Cubano, followed by “Lousina Funky Butts” from Karlsruhe on August 15th, who are causing a stir with their street brass concept. The crowning finale on August 16th will be the tribute band “Mad Zeppelin” from Mainz, which will thrill the fans with their hits.
Tickets and events
Tickets are available for 20 euros - reduced to 12 euros - and if you want to experience the entire festival at once, you can purchase a combination ticket for 99 euros. Advance sales points include the Sparkasse in Villingen and the Morys Hofbuchhandlung in Villingen and Schwenningen. Advance ticket sales will take place on July 5th in Rietstrasse. The events begin at 8 p.m., with admission starting at 7 p.m. with a small refreshment service. The organizing clubs, including the Folk Club and the Rock Club Villingen as well as the municipal cinema Guckloch and the Caba Cultural Association, are looking forward to welcoming many guests.
