October promises numerous highlights in Bad Saulgau. As the temperatures slowly drop, exciting events begin that will make the heart of every culture and music lover beat faster. On Saturday, October 11th, the city will come to life with various events.

How about a musical evening in the Protestant church? The talented harpist Floraleda Sacchi will perform here, followed by a chamber music highlight with “Alban Beikircher & friends” in the Old Monastery. Later, the “Uli Gutscher Trio” will provide jazzy sounds that will certainly delight the listeners. The tickets are available at the box office, and there are also discounted advance sales options through the citizens' office and the tourist information in Bad Saulgau. The prices are between 6 and 22 euros, depending on the category and concert, report colleagues from Schwäbische.de.

Music and entertainment for everyone

At the same time, you can visit the musical comedy “Mature Ladies” in the Ostrach parish hall. This amusing story about three pensioners who run a sex hotline promises to be an entertaining experience. Advance ticket sales start at 12 euros, while the price at the box office is 15 euros. Here we work musically under the accompaniment of Matthias Burth on the piano.

After all these musical delights, there are several events coming up on Sunday, October 12th. A musical wine festival will take place in the Sandbühlhalle Bingen from 10.30 a.m., where visitors will not only experience cheerful sounds, but can also be treated to a piece of cake after lunch. Admission is free, just like at the Oktoberfest in the Schillers Café and Garden, where the first guests are expected at 11 a.m. Guests can expect a take-away buffet and musical entertainment by local court musicians.

Festival of cultures and shopping Sunday

The highlight of the weekend, however, is the festival of cultures and the Sunday shopping in Sigmaringen city center on the same day. The event starts at 11.30 a.m. and is accompanied by a colorful stage program with music, dance and international performances. The shops are open from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., which is the perfect opportunity to stroll around to your heart's content and pick up a bargain or two. The culinary delights include specialties from Kurdish, Turkish, Italian, Ukrainian and Vietnamese cuisine - there is something for every taste.

But that's not all! On Sunday, October 5th, the event “See the Music – and dance!” by Johanna Richter in the Old Monastery. It was a successful mixture of contemporary dance and live music that took the audience along and focused on the interplay between body and sound, as reported bad-saulgau.de show.
