Exciting duels and pressure: District league in the home stretch!

The weekend is just around the corner and the tension in the local football leagues is just as high as the humidity in the cathedral city. There is a thrilling duel in the Baden Black Forest district league: FC Gutmadingen welcomes SG Dauchingen/Weilersbach. Coach Torsten Ruddies sees his team as favorites, but he also warns about the danger of their opponents. "We shouldn't underestimate them. Every point counts in this tight league," he emphasizes.

Meanwhile, SV Geisingen is waiting for a reaction from SG Wolterdingen/Tannheim, who recently suffered a bitter defeat against Furtwangen. Coach Heinz Jäger has clear guidelines: “We have to control the game from the start.” The requirements seem simple, but only implementation will show whether Geisinger is on the right track.

Teams under pressure

On the other side is SV TuS Immendingen, who have warned about the game against SV Titisee - especially given the current table situation. The pressure is also on Hattinger SV, who urgently need points in the Bodensee district league after five winless and pointless games. Match committee chairman Florin Tirca sees the upcoming clash with SV Markdorf as an opportunity to finally turn things around. “Now is the time to set an example,” he says optimistically.

The SG Kirchen-Hausen would like to visit the SG St. Märgen/St. Peter to continue their series of three victories. After the cup win, Armin Stihl, chairman of the match committee, wants to show even more that the team still has a lot of potential. At the same time, SG Emmingen/Liptingen would like to initiate a turnaround and is expecting HSK Croatia Singen after the first games were disappointing. With only one point in their account, every point coming is crucial for Emminger.

Top game and basement duel

In the Bodensee district league A, the unbeaten FC Schwandorf/Worndof/Neuhausen leads the table and faces bottom team SG Boll-Krumbach-Bietingen/Gallmannsweil, who are still without points. This could turn out to be another educational game for the newbies. On the other hand, SG Buchheim/Altheim/Thalheim-Kreenheinstetten/Leibertingen is currently in a solid fifth place and awaits SG Sipplingen/Hödingen/Bonndorf, which only has one point.

The exciting and dramatic situation in the leagues is further intensified by the large number of games and the uncertain outcome. The coaches, players and fans can look forward to an exciting weekend. Further information about the leagues and results can be found at Kicker and FuPa.
