Giant trade fair Life, Living, Leisure” returns to Ulm!

From June 26, 2025, everything in the city of Ulm will revolve around the topics of life, housing and leisure. After a long, six-year break, the “Leben, Wohnen, Freizeit” (LWF) trade fair is about to return and promises to be a real highlight in the event calendar. Around 250 exhibitors are expected, and the organizers expect up to 30,000 visitors to the almost 20,000 square meter area on the Danube. The Ravensburger Veranstaltungsgesellschaft (RVG) has provided this largest consumer trade fair in the region with a fresh concept that covers all areas of life.

Trade fair boss Stephan Drescher and his team from Upper Swabia have come up with a lot of ideas. Loud Swabian newspaper The subject areas are wide-ranging and range from construction and living to leisure activities and health and wellness. There is a special novelty in the foyer: the gourmet market, which aims to introduce visitors to “drinking pleasure” and “reading pleasure”, will certainly be an attraction for the whole family.

Clearly structured subject areas

The trade fair will be divided into several halls in which around 60 companies will present their latest products and services. In Hall 1 everything revolves around the topics of building, living and renovation, while Halls 2 and 3 deal with household, everyday life, leisure, travel and health. For technology and car enthusiasts, a selection of automobile brands and camping mobiles awaits you in the open area. A colored guidance system makes orientation on the exhibition grounds easier so that visitors don't miss a stand.

Also not to be forgotten: the child-friendly offers! There are specially developed “children’s retrieval bracelets” for the little guests so that parents can explore the fair at their leisure. In addition, all halls are air-conditioned, which keeps the quality of the experience high even in warm temperatures.

A look at the prices and opening times

The LWF takes place daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and admission prices are family-friendly: adults pay 9 euros, young people aged 14 and over pay 5 euros, while children up to 13 years of age can enter free of charge. These prices are determined by the Messen.de classified as fair, especially when you consider the wealth of information and offers.

The LWF already has a long history with its first event in 1966 and has in the past been a magnet for concentrated innovation and consumer interest. The trade fair used to welcome up to 140,000 visitors annually and was organized by 700 exhibitors. The organizers have set themselves the goal of offering the LWF every summer in Ulm in order to give new impetus to the local economy and bring the community together.

The LWF could make a valuable contribution to the regional economy and at the same time act as a platform for the direct exchange of innovations and new trends.
