25 new trainers trained for Amberg and Kümmersbruck!
In an exciting initiative to promote sport in the region, 25 new trainers were trained in basic module C for student and youth activities last weekend. The training took place in the sports halls of the Trinity Middle School in Amberg and Kümmersbruck and started on September 26th. The aim of the course is to prepare committed sports enthusiasts to instruct children and young people in club and all-day activities. This reports Central Bavarian.
The training to become a trainer for popular sports for children and young people comprised 125 teaching units and combined theoretical knowledge with practical exercises. The central topics were motor basics, coordination and fitness as well as the design of varied sports lessons. The participants also learned content from training theory, didactics and pedagogy. The prerequisite for participation was, among other things, membership in a sports club and a valid first aid certificate.
Who took part?
Of the 25 participants, 19 came from the Amberg-Sulzbach district, while one participant even came from Inning am Ammersee. The training was supported by the city of Amberg and the municipality of Kümmersbruck, which provided the sports halls. A big thank you also goes to the gymnastics kids from TUS Rosenberg and TV Amberg, who provided great support with the teaching rehearsals.
The offer of trainer training is an important step in further promoting sporting activity in the region. In addition to the already mentioned training to become a trainer C for children and young people, there are also training options for adults that are just as interesting.
