A lot is happening in Augsburg! Fall 2025 will bring with it a variety of new shops and dining options that will enrich the cityscape. This was done by hallo-augsburg.de comprehensively illuminated, and we introduce you to the most exciting new openings.
A very hot topic is sustainable fashion: Since the beginning of September, fashion enthusiasts have been finding the new boutique “Re:Dress” at Obstmarkt 11. This is the BRK Augsburg-Stadt's fifth second-hand shop, which not only offers fashion treasures, but also supports volunteer projects. So if you still have space in your wardrobe, you can warmly welcome your textile donations!
Goodies from Vietnam
An absolute highlight is Elisabeth Nguyen’s stand in the Viktualienhalle. After a long wait since 2019, the stall is finally open, and Nguyen is bringing authentic Vietnamese street food to the table. The selection ranges from delicious pho soups to bánh mì sandwiches and fresh spring and summer rolls. These dishes come from classic Vietnamese cuisine and stand out clearly from the mixed cuisines of other restaurants. Augsburger Allgemeine reports on the successful opening ceremonies and the great enthusiasm with which Nguyen gets to work.
If that's not enough Vietnamese cuisine for you, you'll find the "Ha Noi Asia Bistro" at Hoher Weg 9 just a few steps away. This location offers a diverse menu from warm dishes to light soups, spiced up with healthy bowls. A special treat are the traditional wok dishes and all the delicious Asian classics - all freshly prepared and also available to take away! Creativity and fashion on trend
The creative heart of the city also beats at Milchberg, where the “Kunstbude” has opened. Here Nad and Lara run a space for creative activities and workshops. So if you want to let off steam artistically, you should definitely stop by!
And there is even more for fashion fans: “ONLY” has opened on Annastrasse and is focusing on the latest autumn trends. “Anson’s” has also opened in the former SportScheck premises and offers everything for fashion-conscious men. No wonder that Augsburg is currently in the fast lane!
Another exciting project is the new restaurant “Untitled”, which can be found at Klinkertorstraße 6. This is a successful combination of Vietnamese and European influences; without any strict dress code.
