From Mediterranean architecture to exquisite ice cream parlors to small Italian restaurants – there is plenty to discover here.

Munich is often referred to as the “most northern city in Italy”. The southern European lifestyle becomes tangible through Italian-influenced quarters and a colorful range of restaurants. Another interesting fact: The Feldherrnhalle in Munich was built based on a Florentine model and brings a piece of Tuscany atmosphere to the Bavarian capital. The remarkable gondola in the Nymphenburg Palace Park, which is controlled by a gondolier from Venice, also makes the hearts of romantics beat faster.

Not far away is Lindau on Lake Constance, often referred to as the “Bavarian Riviera”. This picturesque place, embedded in the beautiful surroundings of Lake Constance, attracts with a unique charm. The structures in the historic city center make up just 2% of the city's total area, while 98% are on the mainland. According to Bavaria Travel, Anne-Sophie Zapf, who lives in Lindau, has settled down as an entrepreneur and runs the “juice shop” there. Here you will find cold-pressed juices made from regional, seasonal and organic ingredients - a pleasure that is twice as good!

Another highlight in Lindau is the open art scene, which is enriched by people like Anne-Sophie. She has a good knack for sustainability and also runs a platform to give local artists a stage. The wood turner Angelo De Moliner, who also lives in Lindau, has found his own little oasis in the city. He describes the region as a “magical place” and offers a wide variety of woodwork in his gallery. Definitely worth a visit!
