Mosh Open Air in Cham: Heavy Metal for a good cause on August 23rd!
A very special event is coming up in the idyllic town of Cham on August 23rd, which not only promises heavy music, but also has a social purpose. On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Mosh Open Air (M.O.A.), the club is not only celebrating great bands, but also 20 years of successful fundraising for the White Ring. The event will take place at the L.A. lifestyle café and the anticipation could hardly be greater.
A highlight is clearly the Rammstein tribute band RMC, which will be on stage as the headliner. But that's not all, as the line-up promises a mix of international and regional acts that will invite visitors to celebrate. Entry to the festival is free, but donations to the White Ring are welcome. So far, the Mosh Club has raised over 50,000 euros for a good cause, which underlines the importance of this event. Tanja and Jürgen Wittmann made a significant contribution to this success and their commitment is particularly recognized by the organizers.
A program for the whole family
The Mosh Open Air takes place in the open air, which is what gives the event its special charm. Families are also invited to enjoy the festival and it is recommended that even the little fans bring hearing protection so that they can enjoy the experience without worries. The patron of the event is District Administrator Franz Löffler, who also actively supports the initiative. The Mosh Open Air team is also cooperating with the Hard Summer Festival, which will take place on September 6th in Falkenfels, to celebrate solidarity and music together there too.
An exciting supporting program will be offered the day before the main event, on Friday, August 22nd. At the preliminary event “Wuiden Beergarden” DJ AndiX will heat up the atmosphere and ensure a good mood. If the festival continues, the gates will open at 1 p.m. and visitors can look forward to several performances. The running order of the festival is clearly structured:
| Time | band |
|---|---|
| 1:00 p.m | inlet |
| 1:50 p.m. – 2:30 p.m | PowerFool |
| 2:50 p.m. – 3:30 p.m | The Wylde Rhoads |
| 3:50 p.m. – 4:30 p.m | Morfection |
| 4:50 p.m. – 5:30 p.m | Heartless Day |
| 5:50 p.m. – 6:30 p.m | Virus 41 |
| 7:00 p.m. – 7:50 p.m | Alqemiste |
| 8:20 p.m. – 9:20 p.m | Don't drop the sword |
| 10:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m | RMC |
The after-show party also promises a lot of fun when DJ V-Mich gets the crowd partying further into the early hours of the morning. Overnight guests are also taken care of: a campsite at Regen has been organized, for which registration with the Cham Canoe Club is required.
The Mosh Open Air is not only a celebration of music, but also a symbol of solidarity and community. If you would like to find out more about the event, you can find all the information on the website Mosh clubs as well as the social media channels.
Be there and support a great initiative!
