According to the employer service, the number of job offers subject to social insurance contributions rose to 314 in June, 120 more offers than in the previous year. There is a growing need for personnel, particularly in the construction, retail and temporary employment sectors.

There are currently around 1,000 job opportunities available in the district, but this is 6.5 percent fewer than last year. This difference makes it clear that although the demand for workers is increasing, the availability of corresponding positions is decreasing.

The development of unemployment shows a dramatic increase of 7.6 percent or 974 people compared to last year. A large part of this increase is related to the arrival of many refugees in the region. At the end of June, 964 of the registered unemployed were Ukrainians and 908 refugees of other origins, including 526 Syrians and 110 Afghans.
