Election fever is in the air in Schwabhausen! On November 4, 2025, the Free Voters Schwabhausen (FWS) nominated their candidates for the local council election next March 2026. Mayor Wolfgang Hörl, who is considered a popular figure in the town, is being proposed again for the office of mayor. This was at a well attended Constellation meeting announced in the Gasthaus Göttler in Rumeltshausen.
In a lively atmosphere, Michaela Steiner, chairwoman of the FW district association, welcomed those present and immediately began with a motivating outlook on the upcoming election campaign activities. The candidates had the opportunity to introduce themselves and talk about their careers, their current activities and the goals they are striving for in the next legislative period.

The FWS has been the largest faction in the local council for decades and is bringing a strong team into the race again this year. The nominated candidates are:
