Ewald Treml steps down as TSV boss after 30 years – new will is blowing!

After more than 45 years of service to TSV Natternberg, including 30 years as chairman, Ewald Treml has resigned from his position. The club, which currently has an impressive 7,745 members, is pleased about a positive trend, especially in the youth sector. The new chairman Robert Besendorfer has taken over the reins and knows the club inside out. “I’m looking forward to continuing Ewald’s work and setting new trends together with my team,” said Besendorfer.

TSV Natternberg is impressive. In recent years there has been significant investment in infrastructure. A new storage building for the football division was built, the tennis net posts were replaced and the floodlights were converted. Thanks to the support of the city of Deggendorf, several larger projects were able to be realized. The association is currently also planning to take part in the construction of a new gymnasium for the primary school, because supporting children and young people is particularly important to the association.

Achievements and commitment

One of the highlights of club life is success in competition. The archers recently took part in competitions, which earned Simon Moritz the world championship title. But there is also reason to be happy in the curling division: the team achieved excellent results at championships, while its member Fabian Rankls acts as the new DESV president. The fitness division has now become the department with the largest number of members, and there is a pleasing increase in membership among tennis players.

  • Mitgliederzahlen nach Sparte:
  • Fitness-Sparte: Größte Abteilung, Tendenz steigend
  • Tennis-Sparte: Rund 320 Mitglieder
  • Ski-Abteilung: Ca. 250 Mitglieder
  • Leichtathletik: 15 Kinder trainieren, Trainer werden gesucht
  • Turnen: 370 Mitglieder, Übungsleiter werden gesucht
  • Volleyball: Teilnahme an Freizeitturnieren mit Beachvolleyballplatz
  • Badminton: Wöchentliches Training

Regular get-togethers for club seniors and social events are additional highlights of club life. Ewald Treml particularly thanked the city of Deggendorf and the committed volunteers: “Without their support, many things would not have been possible.” Numerous honors were given to the long-standing members at the last meeting, which shows how great the connection to the club family is.

Healthy club structure

The new team around the newly elected chairman Besendorfer is well positioned. Andreas Oswald remains on board as second chairman, while Hermann Kanamüller manages the finances. Christa Stadler and the newly elected Silke Braumandl are responsible for the writing and the concerns of women and seniors. In addition, the upcoming youth director Marcel Kunkel will bring a breath of fresh air into youth work.

With a strong club structure and a clear focus on mutual development, exciting times lie ahead for TSV Natternberg. What does the future bring? It stays exciting! But one thing is clear: TSV Natternberg will continue to play an important role in the region's sports and club life.
