New tenant for Brückenwirt: tavern with a fresh concept!
Despite the challenges that the catering industry brings with it, there will soon be news from Wolfratshausen. The traditional guesthouse Brückenwirt has found a new tenant: Tinh Diep Bui, 38 years old, brings a breath of fresh air into the situation. The Paulaner brewery made him aware of the empty property, and in October 2025 it will open its doors under the name “Welt und Heimat im Brückenwirt”. Bui already runs several restaurants in Munich, including the popular Wirtshaus Preysinghof and the Scheck Club. His goal is not only to win back former regular guests, but also to appeal to new visitors through a creative gastro offensive.
After being closed since the end of February 2025, Brückenwirt is now set to shine with an innovative concept. The plan is to have German-Bavarian cuisine that takes international influences into account. “Not run-of-the-mill,” says Bui, and that gives hope for exciting taste experiences. For the opening, not only the guest room, but also the bar and beer garden will be renovated. The toilets will also be modernized so that guests can feel comfortable in an attractive ambience.
Looking for employees
However, Bui is currently still looking for committed employees, including service staff, bartenders and a restaurant manager. Anyone who is interested can submit their application by email buitinhdiep@gmail.com send. It remains exciting to see who will join the new team, because in the catering sector a good team is the key to success.
Interestingly, the industry has also recognized a trend towards sustainability. Loud Accio More and more restaurants are adopting zero waste practices and trying to minimize food waste. So it could be that Bui integrates similar approaches into his cuisine. Using leftover food creatively and using local suppliers would be a step in the right direction to be environmentally friendly and tasteful.
Opening times and neighborhood
The Brückenwirt will be open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. The restaurant will only be closed on Tuesdays. To experience the diversity of gastronomy in Wolfratshausen, guests can also look around nearby locations such as the Bamboo Garden or the Seegasthaus Hirth. These offer a variety of culinary experiences and contribute to the region's vibrant food culture.
With the planned “soft opening”, Bui wants to optimize the processes and get the first reactions from the guests in order to exploit the full potential of the Brückenwirt. We are excited about the news that awaits us in October. Will Tinh Diep Bui redefine gastronomy in Wolfratshausen? We'll keep you updated.
