Adventure weekend in Wemding: The trade show attracts with highlights!
A lot is happening in Wemding! On July 5th and 6th, 2025, the popular trade show in the industrial area on Stadelmüllerweg will open its doors and will be a magnet for visitors from the entire region. Donau-Ries Aktuell reports that preparations are already in full swing - from program design to advertising to discussions with exhibitors. The trade show not only offers an excellent platform for local companies, but also a diverse experience for the whole family.
Over 60 companies from Wemding and the administrative community have expressed their interest in the “open-air” event, which begins on the first day of the event at 1 p.m. and lasts until 6 p.m., while on Sunday the gates will open at 10 a.m. - and until 5 p.m. Mayor Dr. Martin Drexler will officially open the trade show at 2 p.m. Klaus Fischer, the chairman of the trade association, highlights the creative and innovative ideas of the exhibitors, who will present crafts, industry, trade and services under the motto “Experience”.
A colorful program for everyone
The trade show has big plans: In addition to the exhibitors, guests can expect numerous activities and family-friendly highlights. From graffiti painting and children's excavators to a 15-meter Ferris wheel and a bungee trampoline, there is something for everyone here. With live music and a balloon artist, the visit becomes an experience. And your physical well-being is also taken care of: on the STREET-FOOD-MEILE, savory snacks and sweet treats await visitors' taste buds.
Another highlight: The Wemdinger CITY CYCLING begins on Sunday, which takes place from July 6th to 26th, 2025. The organizers recommend coming to the trade show by bike on both days, as a free trade show EXPRESS will be set up - stops are clearly signposted. Access to the event is free of charge, and information can be found both in the flyer and on the trade association's website at www.gewerbeverband-wemding.de.
The trade show should not only be a showcase for local companies, but also a place for meetings and exchange. With large employers such as VALEO and Appl as well as Lebenshilfe, which is planning activities with its workshop and the new wafer bakery, diversity is ensured. There's something going on for the region - the anticipation of an adventure weekend is increasing!
