Record number of participants in the Everyman Run in Rain am Lech!
What a running event! The first run of the Everyman running series in Rain am Lech was a complete success. With a record participation of 345 participants in the main run of 10.3 kilometers and 154 runners in the short course of 3.4 kilometers, the event shows that running is very popular. LG Donau-Ries didn't miss the opportunity to organize this sporting highlight of the year. However, the runners had to adapt to a slightly different route because construction work was being carried out on the Lechdamm. But don't worry, the length remained almost the same as in previous years, as [nn.de](https://www.nn.de/region/weissenburg/rekord participation-bei-jedermann-laufserie-und-arriba-goppersdorf-war-mittendrin-1.14885822) reports.
The winner of the main run was Tobias Gröbel from LG Zusam with an impressive time of 33:53 minutes. Manuel Leinweber from LG Warching came in second. In the women's category, Pia Schweitzer from TSV Dinkelsbühl reached the top with 40:55 minutes, followed by Theresa Griesbach, also from LG Warching.
Number of participants and Arriba Göppersdorf
The Arriba Göppersdorf running and triathlon club was also well represented. Nine participants started for the club, with Luka Feil finishing as the fastest Arriba runner in 18th place overall with 40:37 minutes. The other times of the members are remarkable and testify to the strong performance of the runners. The Arriba runners achieved the following placements:
- Jonas Morawek: 41:49 Minuten (Gesamtplatz 32)
- Martin Schuster: 41:53 Minuten (Gesamtplatz 34)
- Samuel Kauth: 46:33 Minuten (Gesamtplatz 87)

- Patricia Kamm und Felix Lichtenberg: 55:52 Minuten
- Marcel Eisen: 56:39 Minuten (Gesamtplatz 228)
- Paul Kerczynski: 59:09 Minuten (Gesamtplatz 259)
At the same time, the Sport-Scheck run took place in Nuremberg, where Selina Smola from Arriba Göppersdorf took third place with 1,184 women. Her sister Rebekka was also successful, taking 29th place overall and winning the W60 age group. Together they show that the family has a knack for running!
