In the Paulushofen industrial area it was recently “fire clear” for the performance test of the Paulushofen and Kottingwörth fire departments. On Friday evening, the groups consisting of six participants showed off their skills - and with impressive success. Again Danube Courier reported that each of the three groups that competed passed the challenges that the fire brigade exam brought with it and could be proud of their achievements.

The performance test is one of the fire department's important traditions, as it offers the opportunity to deepen and maintain knowledge and skills. According to the specifications of the Cham district fire brigade association The test requires a high level of teamwork and precise execution - because the goal is not to set record times, but rather to carry out all tasks error-free and in an orderly manner.

Participants received different achievement badges upon successful completion of their tasks. The levels are clearly defined and range from Level 1 to Level 6. These badges are not only meaningful to the firefighters, but also a sign of appreciation for their commitment. The successful participants at a glance:

A thank you from the mayor

The mayor of Paulushofen, Helmut Schloderer (BL/FW), did not miss the opportunity to thank his comrades on the sidelines of the event. “It’s great to see how the fire departments work together across the village boundaries,” he emphasized, highlighting the services provided by the volunteer fire department. He thanked all participants who ensured the safety of citizens through their tireless efforts.

The exams are not only a challenge for the firefighters, but also an important opportunity to strengthen team spirit and promote cooperation. Exams to be taken such as “The group in a firefighting operation” have established themselves as a proven method of further training fire brigade members in both practice and theory, as is the information on it Wikipedia present.

The coming year will certainly bring new challenges, but the success story of the Paulushofen and Kottingwörth fire departments will continue, with a strong foundation of knowledge and experience that will be required in every operation.
