Luxury spa with Bali flair: Olching is preparing for a wellness revolution!

In Olching, a small town in the south of Germany, the feel-good paradise par excellence could soon be created. The Vabali spa chain has big plans for a new luxury spa that will make the hearts of wellness lovers beat faster with its unique Bali flair. The project will cost a total of 60 million euros and the initial preparations on the building site have already been completed. “The approval is almost through,” reports the Mercury.

As the Evening newspaper As explained, construction is expected to begin in the near future and could take place this year. The construction time is estimated to be around two years, so the Olchingers can expect an opening in 2027. The majority of the city council has approved a new development plan, which gives additional impetus to the project.

A relaxing island paradise

The planned spa will not only have 13 saunas, four steam baths and four pools, but will also offer a restaurant, massage services and cozy relaxation areas. Up to 250 jobs are on the horizon, which could bring a welcome economic boost to the community. Critics' concerns that the spa is primarily intended for the greater Munich area and not for Olching's 28,000 residents can perhaps be alleviated by creating jobs.

With this ambitious project, the Vabali Group is also pursuing sustainable measures: green roofs and photovoltaic systems are planned on the site in order to minimize environmental impact. Around 500 parking spaces, some with electric charging options, are intended to ensure smooth access. Experts assume that the increase in traffic will be moderate, less than in a normal commercial area.

A place for adults

Access to the spa is for adults only - children and cell phones are taboo. The dress code? Completely according to the Balinese model: textile-free or in bathrobes. Opening hours extend until midnight and you can expect to pay around 50 euros for a day ticket. This shows that there is a market for wellness in Olching, especially since “health” and “relaxation” represent contemporary desires. The trend towards wellness has been growing for years and appeals to a broader target group - more and more people are integrating wellness into their everyday lives, as the analysis shows Wellness Hotels & Resorts shows.

Overall, the new Vabali Spa could not only become a real jewel for the Olching population, but also enrich the wellness life of the entire region. The exciting development promises a positive future for the location. It remains to be seen how this project will unfold in the coming years - but one thing is certain: a place of rest and relaxation will be created here that will certainly attract many visitors.
