40 years of Keller Mountain Blues Band: Celebrate anniversary in Königsbad!
On Friday, June 27th, musical fireworks will be lit in Königsbad Forchheim. The Keller Mountain Blues Band (KMBB) is celebrating its 40th anniversary and invites you to the anniversary concert. The event takes place as part of the popular cultural summer quarter and promises an evening full of rousing sounds and nostalgic hits. It starts at 8 p.m.!
The band, which has been active in Upper Franconia since 1985, has achieved legendary status in the field of rhythm 'n' blues. Their extensive repertoire ranges from soul classics to the songs of the Blues Brothers to hits by greats such as Joe Cocker, James Brown and Aretha Franklin. We're talking about a group that is characterized by a groovy rhythm section and an impressive brass section. The lead singers Nadin Albrecht and Alex Teubner give the performances a unique touch.
A living room for the grown-ups
The concert is organized by the Junges Theater Forchheim in cooperation with the city of Forchheim. In the past, the KMBB has caused a sensation at well-known events such as the Jazz Weekend in Regensburg and the Erlanger Bergkirchweih. They have also appeared on stage in support of greats such as Luther Allison and Albie Donelly's Supercharge. So it's no wonder that the anniversary concert is expected to be the highlight of the Franconian summer.
Tickets are available at an attractive advance price of 16.40 euros (reduced 12 euros), while the box office price is 18.90 euros (reduced 14.50 euros). Tickets can be purchased at the Kefferstein Lotto acceptance point at Hornschuhallee 21 and online at jtf.de be grabbed.
Franconian festivals and cultural diversity
The planned event is part of the rich festival and cultural diversity that Franconia has to offer. In addition to the anniversary concert, there are numerous other events that take place throughout the year, such as the Franconian Wine Festival or the Bamberg Jazz Festival, where not only music but also cuisine and tradition are very popular. These festivals attract people from all over the world every year and reflect Franconian culture.
Whether it's the funky sounds of the KMBB or celebratory wine tastings - the region has something to offer for every taste. From classical productions at the theater festival in Röttingen to live music and food stalls at music and gourmet festivals, the selection is almost endless. And now, with the upcoming KMBB concert, there will be another great opportunity to experience Franconian culture up close.
Grab it, because summer still has a lot in store and the music scene in Franconia is livelier than ever!
