Seniors enjoy excursion to the enchanting rock garden Sanspareil

Sanspareil 34, 96197 Wonsees, Deutschland - The Senioren community of Ehrenbürg e.V. had a fun day when visiting the rock garden in Sanspareil. On July 9, 2025, the seniors from Kirchehrenbach went on to their half -day trip with the municipal bus and a bus of the sports club. Good mood in the luggage and the anticipation for a special experience that not only offered nature, but also a piece of history.

The rock garden is a unique garden that goes back to the time of the Bayreuth margrave couple Friedrich and Wilhelmine in the 18th century. As the Wiesentbote was accompanied by a guide, the exciting information on the origin of the garden and its use of the pleasure change was presented. The impressive open -air theater from the surrounding stones provided many AHS and OHS among the participants.

At the end of the path, the historical morning building, which served as a summer palace and 2023 and 2024, remains closed due to renovation work for sightseeing. The participants stopped at the charming excursion in the castle café, where delicious coffee and cake were served. This was particularly pleased with the seniors who ended the day with a sociable get -together. With the knowledge of having got to know the nature and culture of the region a little better, the community bus brought everyone in a good mood and safely back home.

The parking tours offered in the rock garden take place from May to October, Saturday and Sunday, and cost only three euros per participant. For the Zwernitz Castle, which is also part of the history of this area, leading insights into the former margravial hunt, which is particularly exciting for families. There are hands -on stations for children and a wonderful view of Franconian Switzerland.
