TSV Jahn Freising crowns the season with triumphant Bayern Cup E successes!

The gymnasts of TSV Jahn Freising have once again impressively drawn attention to themselves. At the state final of the Bayern Cup in Tirschenreuth they were able to celebrate six podium places. This is the result of a strong season that resulted in two gold, three silver and one bronze medals. How Mercury reported that Youth A/B, which represents participants between the ages of 14 and 17, achieved an impressive third place. The participants who are 18 years old and older only had to accept second place.

In the current season, the youth team A/B has also proven to be a real front runner by achieving first place in both the Munich district competition and the Upper Bavaria regional competition. Robin Atkinson was the top scorer with a fantastic score of 102.6. The teams' performances were considered a mixture of technology, stability and strong team spirit.

Successes of youth gymnasts

The club can also be a little proud of repeating the Bavarian championship title for youth gymnasts A/B. Winning the title is a first for TSV tsv-jahn-freising.de informed. These young athletes also stood out through hard work and remarkable performances last season, both at the district competition in Unterföhring and at the regional competition in Heufeld (Upper Bavaria).

A look into the future

The club is optimistic about next season. A gymnastics camp that serves team building and promotes targeted efforts to improve specific elements is already firmly on the agenda. In addition, the club championship is carried out as the first performance test for the upcoming competitions. The regular training sessions take place on Tuesdays and Fridays in the small Jahnhalle in downtown Freising.

The ongoing competitions and the committed work of the coaches and athletes make it clear how much the Bayern Cup, which this year brought together over 97 participants from 18 Bavarian club platforms, represents a center of gymnastics.
