Celebrations without end: The best festivals in the Fürstenfeldbruck district!
What is going on in our surroundings? On the first weekend in July there are a number of festivals and events in the Fürstenfeldbruck district that no one should miss. In keeping with this, summer puts you in a good mood while everyone kills two birds with one stone: have fun and strengthen the community!
Fire brigade festival in Gernlinden
A very special highlight is the fire department festival in Gernlinden, which is celebrated on the occasion of the fire department's 100th anniversary. It starts on Thursday with a warm-up in the tent at the sports field from 6 p.m. On Friday the party evening with the band Nachtstark is on the program. There's a lot on offer for families on Saturday from 11 a.m.: hands-on activities, vehicle exhibitions and even a Punch and Judy show provide plenty of entertainment. The highlight of the day is the fire truck pulling at 5 p.m. On Sunday morning pints start at 8 a.m., followed by a church service, speeches and the traditional parade.
Further events at a glance
For equestrian sports fans, we must not forget the 303rd Willibaldritt in Jesenwang. Here on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. riders and carriages move to the Willibald Church, followed by a blessing. The beer garden in the Kastanienhain also promises sociable hours. For art lovers, the “Kunst im Stadl” in Anzhofen is a must on Saturday from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The event offers the opportunity to admire arts and crafts and shop. Musical performances and culinary offerings round off the offering.
A festival full of cultural diversity
The Festival of Cultures is celebrated in Bruck on Sunday. Here everyone can enjoy the international cuisine and look forward to a supporting program with music and dance performances. There will be plenty of variety around the St. Bernhard parish hall from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The festival aims to celebrate cultural diversity and bring people from different backgrounds together. These events are a great way to promote togetherness!
Another highlight in the district is the celebration of “50 years of ASV Biburg”, which takes place on July 5th and 6th on the sports grounds and in the Braumiller-Hof. In addition to a game party from 2 p.m., there will be a big party with the band “Endless” and a laser show on Saturday from 8 p.m. to celebrate. On Sunday it will be festive again: a parade at 8 a.m., followed by a church service at 9:30 a.m. and the ceremony at 11 a.m.
Summer mood at the Mammendorf outdoor pool
The Mammendorf outdoor pool is also celebrating its 40th anniversary on Sunday with a range of activities such as sliding races at 10 a.m., a large range of crafts and face painting. There is a lot on offer here for the little guests! The Mammendorf fire department is also active and offers young firefighter training, which is sure to delight many young fire department fans.
So, have fun! Summer has a lot to offer and a lot is happening in our towns and villages. You should use the opportunity to make new acquaintances and renew old friendships - maybe you'll see each other at the next morning pint or at the creative weekend program.
