Giving and sharing: Children help children” starts in Munich!

This year's “Children help children” campaign by ADRA Deutschland e.V. celebrated its 25th anniversary on October 30, 2025. The aim of this committed initiative is to help children in need in Eastern Europe. Those responsible are confident that a large number of collection points throughout Germany will arouse keen interest and bring joy to children. Volunteers are available to collect the packages and give the little recipients a Christmas surprise.

As wochenanzeiger.de reports, the packages can be dropped off until November 14, 2025. To make packing easier, standardized boxes and information flyers can be picked up at the collection points. The packages should contain a colorful mix of hygiene products, school and craft supplies, toys, sweets and warm winter clothing such as hats, scarves and gloves.

Community engagement

Particular attention is paid to involving children in the campaign. They can give old toys a new home and learn to share in the process. In addition to donations in kind, monetary donations of 8 euros per package are also very welcome to support projects in the recipient countries.

For anyone who would like to take an active part, the organization offers various contact addresses for collection points in and around Munich. In Laim, for example, Marion Scheuchl-Laschak is available to answer inquiries, while in Pasing Hans-Jürgen Rönisch is ready to receive the collected packages. There are also opportunities to donate the collected donations in other districts such as Sendling, Obermenzing and Neuhausen.
