KoKi playground tour: Parents and children network in the summer!
In the Garmisch-Partenkirchen district, an exciting playground tour is being offered in these summer months, which will particularly benefit young families. The Early Childhood Coordination Center, also known as KoKi, invites all parents and their children to receive information and support about pregnancy and the first years of their children's lives in a relaxed atmosphere. As the Landkreis Garmisch-Partenkirchen reports, the events take place at various playgrounds in the region and are an excellent opportunity to talk to and network with other parents.
The KoKi employees not only present information and advice, they also bring gifts, including the popular KoKi dummy fishing. This gives the little guests the opportunity to have fun and play, while the adults receive valuable tips that can make everyday life easier. In addition to the KoKi employees, family representatives and heads of family support centers will also be present at some appointments to offer additional support.

Early help and family support
KoKi's initiative is part of the range of early childhood assistance that is aimed at pregnant women, expectant parents and families with small children. As the City of Munich makes clear, these aids are primarily intended to offer support and relief during pregnancy and after birth. These include family midwives who provide advice during pregnancy, as well as specialists who help with issues such as breastfeeding, nutrition and dealing with crying babies after the birth.
The advice is free, voluntary and confidential. The ideas and offers provided by these initiatives aim to create good starting opportunities for children at an early stage and to support parents during the challenging time of the first years of life. Exchanging ideas with other families and sharing experiences is just as important.
