The Bavarian Zugspitzbahn has achieved a record result in its company history with an impressive 8 million euros. This includes 661,000 euros for new snow groomers and 261,000 euros for the new construction of the Kreuzwankl chairlift, which represents a truly major project with total project costs of 18 million euros. Assembly of the mountain station has already begun and the opening is planned for the start of the ski season.
Although the number of visitors in the Classic area fell slightly, record numbers were recorded on the Zugspitze.
