FCI juniors squander victory against VfB Stuttgart in stoppage time!
The U19 juniors of FC Ingolstadt 04 had an exciting match against VfB Stuttgart in the DFB youth league last Saturday. Despite a strong performance, the Ingolstadt team lost 1:2, which meant a setback for the team. In addition, the defeat was particularly bitter because both of Stuttgart's goals conceded came in stoppage time and the Ingolstadt team had long been hoping for a point. The unforeseen happened in added time: Matheos Tsigkas was able to equalize for Stuttgart with a header in the 90th+3 minute, before Tuncay Durna converted a penalty in the 90+6 minute for a 2-1 win.
