The DEL2 season 2025/2026 is gaining momentum. The fourth matchday took place on September 28, 2025, which already brought decisive developments for some teams. The arena was well filled and the fans could look forward to exciting duels. What particularly stood out was the Sachsenderby between the Eispiren Crimmitschau and the Lausitzer Füchsen, which the Eispirates won 2-1. With these three points they have secured a place in the top third of the table.
The Kassel Huskies confirmed their strong form in the remaining games. They remain unbeaten with a narrow 2-1 win against Eisbären Regensburg. ESV Kaufbeuren's first home game against Düsseldorfer EG also ends with a victory for the guests after a penalty shootout (3:2), while the Ravensburg Towerstars were able to triumph at EC Bad Nauheim.
