The building committee in Kaufbeuren has made an important decision. A change to the usage and development plan for the care campus at Afraberg was recommended, and without any dissenting votes. Impressive facilities are planned that offer both child care and living space for employees. Sustainability plays a big role in this project. The new buildings will be constructed using wood or wood hybrid construction, which will significantly increase energy efficiency. In the future, this will be widened to two and a half meters to enable safe pick-up and drop-off traffic.
