On Saturday evening, the lake stage in Riedenburg was filled with a colorful carpet of brass music. The Vielharmonie group, which is committed to promoting brass music in the Kelheim region, presented its third concert this year and attracted around 200 listeners. The backdrop of the natural arena not only offered a breathtaking view, but also exceptional acoustics, which enabled guests to enjoy the subtle nuances of the music. The musical director Korbinian Wimmer, who has shaped the group with his commitment since its founding in 2004, was enthusiastic about the unique atmosphere of the evening. “The stage is wonderful, the backdrop is fantastically beautiful,” enthused Wimmer, emphasizing that this was the Vielharmonie’s first concert on the lake stage, which posed a special challenge for the ensemble. The approximately hour-long concert entertainment was rewarded with warm applause from the audience, and the weather lived up to the name “Summer Serenade”.

The Vielharmonie program was a successful mix of traditional, classical concert and modern wind orchestra music.
