Something is happening in beautiful Bavaria! The wind farm on Rennsteig will develop magnificently over the next two years and will produce an incredible 15 wind turbines with a nominal output of over 100 megawatts. The project, the idea of which was born in 2021 at Heinz Glas in Kleintettau during the energy crisis, is now slowly taking shape. The first foundations will be visible from February 2025, and it will be interesting to see how quickly the work progresses. CPC Germania, an experienced partner in the wind power industry, also came on board to realize the whole thing. A big thank you to everyone who supports green energy!
The first transport of an impressive 80 meter long wind blade is scheduled for 2027. The wind farm is intended to not only supply the region with clean energy, but also contribute to the creation of value in the surrounding area. It is interesting that the glass companies Heinz and Wiegand are not participating in the project because they can obtain their electricity more cheaply on the market. The project is currently being implemented without the topic of hydrogen, which means the planners are heading in a clear direction.
