The anticipation for the 74th Kulmbacher Beer Week is growing: from July 26th to August 3rd, 2025, the city center will be transformed into a venue for conviviality, tradition and the odd cold beer. The event attracts numerous visitors year after year and offers a wide selection of delicious festival beers and regional delicacies. The Frankenpost reports that advance sales of the coveted tokens will start on June 30, 2025 in the brewery's administration.
These tokens, which act as a kind of currency during Beer Week, allow cashless purchases of food and drinks directly from the stands. Around two thirds of all beer measures are now paid for with these practical brands, which guarantee a smooth process. Interestingly, cashless payment with beer stamps has a long tradition that began in the 1950s, as the Kulmbacher brewery reports on its online portal. So the Kulmbacher Brewery.

Speaking of beer: The brewery has once again created a new design for the beer brands this year, which shows the Beer Week logo and the popular beer Liesl. The square brands with rounded corners are similar in size to the previous models and can be purchased for 8.40 euros. A real deal when you consider that you can enjoy a pint of Festbier or two half liters of Kapuziner Weißbier.
The range of beers in the Kulmbacher brewery is extremely diverse. In the Kulmbacher Bierstadel, visitors can try the following festival beers:
- Kulmbacher Festbier: bernsteinfarben und leicht malzaromatisch.
- EKU-Festbier: kräftige Farbe mit einer angenehmen Hopfenbittere.
- Mönchshof-Festbier: hell und weich im Geschmack.
- Kapuziner Weißbier: goldgelb, fruchtig und süffig.
The beer and food vouchers can be purchased in the administration of the Kulmbacher Brewery. Opening hours are Monday to Thursday between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. and Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. To avoid long waiting times, we recommend picking up the stamps early or even ordering them online using the order form at www.kulmbacher-bierwoche.de.
