Battle of the ex-Landsbergers: top game at TSV 1860 Munich II!
Things are getting hot in the Bayernliga South - the upcoming duel between Landsberg and the second team of TSV 1860 Munich promises to be a real test of strength. Not only are both teams currently at the top of the table, there will also be a reunion with old friends. Goalkeeper Stefan Musa and Alexander Benede, two former Landsberg players, are hunting for points for the “little lions”.
The game, which was originally scheduled for Saturday, will now take place on Friday at Grünwalder Straße 114 in Munich. Landsberg has proven to be strong offensively in previous games and has the best attack in the league with 34 goals. On the other hand, 1860 II shines with an impressive defensive performance that only conceded eight goals. Assistant coach Furkan Kircicek is sure: “It will be an exciting top game!”
Important personnel details and injuries
However, the game will not be a walk in the park for the Landsbergers. Captain Max Holdenrieder has to miss the game due to a torn tendon. The team could also possibly be without Max Berwein and Tiziano Mulas as both are struggling with injury problems. There is at least some positive news for Simon Gartmann, who has started training again after suffering from pubic bone inflammation.
Stefan Musa, who left Landsberg due to a lack of prospects for a regular place, has already played seven games as number one for Munich this season. “I am happy with my decision to leave,” said Musa. Benjamin Benede, the record player in the Bayernliga, will strive to further expand his 377 games and would like to use his experience to help the team maintain its top position.
Previous games and form of the teams
The preparations for the upcoming match are no coincidence. Both teams were able to achieve some success in the last matches. In one of the last games, Landsberg had to settle for a 1-1 draw against SV Kirchanschöring after they conceded an own goal scored shortly before the end. 1860 II, on the other hand, is in top form and is staying in the top third of the table with consistent performances. This resulted in a 2-1 win against FC Deisenhofen, in which Noah Klose and Finn Fuchs scored the decisive goals.
The emerging duel could be crucial for the rest of the season. While Landsberg has the best offense in the league, the defense is not lacking in challenges. Fans and players can hope for a thrilling game and many exciting moments.
From now on we have to keep our fingers crossed for the Landsbergers, who want to get back on the road to success with a win. Because as the saying goes: Anything can happen in football, and the prospect of meeting old friends makes the excitement even greater!
