Sneak Peek with Santa Claus: The exciting day at the Youth Culture Center!
On Saturday, December 6th, 2025, it will be “Sneak Peek” with a special St. Nicholas special at the youth culture center at Lechstrasse 4. A very special event that many will be looking forward to, because from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. there will be a colorful program that is not only attractive for music lovers. Mayor Doris Baumgartl will ceremoniously open the event and prepare visitors for the new premises and future direction of the youth culture center. A whole team worked hard to present a first impression of the extensive possibilities that the JUZE has to offer on this day.
The program offers something for everyone. From exciting house tours to live music by the talented Moritz Eckstein, Carina Lerbinger and Annalena Jungmann to an energetic hip-hop rap performance by Linda Wörmann - no one will be able to sit still here! The whole thing is complemented by a creative improvisational theater piece from the “Junge Bühne”. Just when you think it couldn't get any better, DJ Philipp Altheimer ensures the right end to the afternoon.
Special visit and meals
A highlight of the afternoon will be the visit of the second mayor Moritz Hartmann in the role of Santa Claus. So it's exciting to see what he has to say this year! And your physical well-being will also be taken care of, as food will be available for everyone present. Whether sweet or savory delicacies, Santa Claus will certainly not be the only one to delight the palate.
The JUZE team is not only looking forward to the opening, but also to the exchange with the public and everyone who values music, creativity and encounters. It is an ideal opportunity to familiarize yourself with the new possibilities and get to know the vision of the youth center. Information about holiday care for 2025 is also available online, and reservation requests can be sent by email to juze@landsberg.de until February 12, 2024. More information can also be found on the [JUZE] homepage (https://www.juze-landsberg.de/).
Creative offers and events
The JUZE is much more than just an event location. There is a varied program for young people that goes beyond the Santa Claus special. For example, on November 19, 2025, a student congress took place on the topic “City. People. Toilet.” took place, where the focus was on important aspects such as clean water and hygienic conditions. It is becoming increasingly clear that the connection between sustainability and access to safe toilets is crucial for the quality of life in our cities. These issues are essential for future generations and show how important it is to design water and sanitation together.
With creative workshops and theater educational offerings that also appeal to French speakers, the JUZE becomes a place for encounters and exchange. Among other things, the workshop “Speak up!” offered as part of the International Day of Children's Rights 2025, which not only teaches young people improvisation techniques, but also creates space for personal expression.
So if you are looking for varied leisure activities, be sure to stop by JUZE! The team has already prepared many exciting ideas and is looking forward to bringing the young people from Landsberg on board and offering them a platform for their talents. Be there at the opening and experience this newly designed center up close!
