Lukas Krämmer becomes dream player at EHC Klostersee – strong transfer!
A real ice hockey highlight awaits fans of EHC Klostersee: 31-year-old all-rounder Lukas Krämmer is moving from EV Dingolfing to the Klostersee Warriors. This exciting new acquisition was officially confirmed on Corpus Christi Day by Marc Kerndl, the EHC's sporting director. Krämmer is not only planned as a player, but also as a leader in the team. “He is an absolute dream player,” said Thomas Vogl, the head coach of the EHC, who received the good news of the contract signing during his vacation in Egypt.
Before his move, Krämmer had played 58 competitive games for EV Dingolfing in two seasons. He scored 18 goals and collected 11 assists, which underlines his offensive strength. For the last two years he served at TSV Erding and learned ice hockey at EV Landshut. Vogl emphasizes that Krämmer always gives 100 percent to the team's success, no matter what position he plays.
Family ties and ice hockey tradition
Krämmer comes from a true ice hockey family: his brother Bastian ended his own career two years ago, while his cousin Nico is currently active in the DEL. His family's roots are also deeply rooted in ice hockey, as grandfather Alois Schloder was captain of EV Landshut and the German national team and won bronze at the 1976 Olympic Games in Innsbruck.
The squad planning work at EV Dingolfing has now been completed, as the second newcomer Martin Benes has now been signed. Benes, a former junior national player for the Czech Republic, is moving from Krefelder EV and will take on a key role alongside Max Hofbauer in the front row. Coach Bernie Englbrecht is in excellent spirits with the new squad constellation.
A look at the ice hockey transfer market
In the German ice hockey landscape, there are four professional leagues across Germany that are characterized by a large number of active players. The official ice hockey transfer market currently includes 52 professional teams and numerous leagues from the DEL to regional associations. The development of German young players has been in full swing since 2020 as the requirements on the game sheet have become stricter.
Lukas Krämmer's move to EHC Klostersee is not only a win for the team, but also shows how important it is to keep and promote ice hockey talent like him in the region. Fans can look forward to an exciting season, with the first appearance on Kirta Sunday in a home game against ESC Dorfen.
