Graduation ceremony: Graduates celebrate the start of their future!
On July 16, 2025, the time had finally come: the certificate presentation at the vocational school took place in the festively decorated hall of the Reinhardshof branch. In the presence of over 200 guests, including local notables such as District Administrator Dr. Ronny Raith and Mayor Andreas Kroner, the school community honored the commitment and successes of the graduates. Director of Studies Markus Wallner opened the celebration with warm words, while Matthias Schricker and Martin Guggenberger from the clergy expressed their blessings.
For the graduates, this day marked the end of an intense journey that began 673 days ago - a period in which 300 days were just holidays and weekends. The school days included both classes and internships that prepared students for professional life. During her speech, department head Silke Eckstein recalled the beginnings of school and thanked the support association for its support in various activities and excursions. According to her, the school community has been an important part of the graduates' careers.
Special honors and awards
A highlight of the graduation ceremony was the awarding of 25 school and state awards. Some special achievements stand out among the award winners: Evan Diehm (2BFE2) received a prize with a grade of 1.8, while Evelin Olenburg (2BFW2) was awarded a score of 1.4. Students with a grade average of 1.5 or better were also honored, including Lukas Hafner, who won the state prize with an excellent average of 1.0 in warehouse logistics.

The proud graduates, including students from professions such as retail, office management, warehouse logistics, dialogue marketing and industrial mechanics, reflected on their experiences at vocational school. In her speeches, Leon Stadler, for example, spoke of the “totally cool school” and thanked the school family for their support.
Importance of the dual system
Given the importance of dual vocational training, which is particularly important in Germany, it is important to mention that this training is an attractive option for many young people. According to the BIBB reported in 2019: 36.8% of beginners began fully qualified vocational training, with the majority, namely 67.4%, choosing dual training. These figures give the dual system a decisive role in the educational landscape compared to other educational stations.
The transition into working life is not only made easier by school training. Rather, the focus is on personal interaction and learning in the community of the dual system. The proportion of young people with foreign roots was also 16.6% in 2019, which underlines the diversity in vocational schools.
Finally, the graduation ceremony was not only a worthy setting for the presentation of certificates, but also an important moment to focus on the future prospects of the graduates as the next steps in a promising life path. The festivities concluded at the Falter Inn, where the graduates were able to toast with their relatives and guests of honor.
