Monika Gruber celebrates a sold-out comeback at the Bauerntheater Schliersee!
An exciting day for all Monika Gruber fans: She has her new tour “Es huilft ja nix!” on November 4th, 2025. started with three premieres in the charming Bauerntheater in Schliersee. The first performances were so popular that all seats were already sold out. Gruber, who chose the premiere in Schliersee, particularly emphasized the special atmosphere of the theater, which reminded her of her beginnings with “Ewiger Spitzbua”.
The enthusiasm for their tour is enormous. How Mercury reported, Gruber was able to sell an incredible 40,000 tickets for 93 performances in 35 cities, including Dresden, Wiener Neustadt and Bozen, in just ten hours on October 14, 2025. A true sense of achievement!
Premiere fever in the farmer's theater
The audience can expect a real highlight in Schliersee. For Gruber, the premiere in front of 350 spectators, who she describes as “raving for fun,” was a welcome change from the large halls in which she usually performs. “I have less pressure,” she revealed. All tickets for the performances on March 10th, 11th, 12th, 30th and 31st and April 1st, 2026 have already been sold, which underlines their high status among fans.
Monika Gruber feels comfortable in the familiar surroundings of the Bauerntheater and appreciates the combination with the attached restaurant and the bar next door. “Performing here is just fun,” she says. However, an additional performance in the Bauerntheater is not being considered because Gruber wants to preserve the original experience.
A look at their versatility
Monika Gruber is not only a talented comedian and actress, but also a source of inspiration for many. Her impressive career and the way she inspires her audience is remarkable. While in the digital world there are characters like Monika from “Doki Doki Literature Club” – a confident figure with a passion for playing the piano – the real Monika Gruber remains the undeniable star of the stage. Unlike the fictional Monika, with her complex, often painful views on social interactions, our Gruber is a happy ambassador of laughter.
This different type of “Monika” shows how art and entertainment find expression in different ways
can touch people. Gruber's comedic skills are appreciated by a wide audience, as can be seen from the sold-out performances.
With a successful mix of humor, local patriotism and a pinch of nostalgia, Gruber will demonstrate why the Austrian (and Bavarian) cultural scene can no longer be imagined without her. Their tour will undoubtedly be a great pleasure for their loyal fans!
