A serious motorcycle accident occurred on Sunday evening, August 31, 2025, on Kreuzstrasse in Valley, Miesbach district. The incident happened around 6:15 p.m. at the intersection of Römerstrasse and Gruber Strasse.
The motorcyclist, who was traveling with his KTM from Sollach towards Faistenhaar, apparently ignored the right of way. He collided with the VW bus, which was driven by a 59-year-old man from Rosenheim. The bus driver drove from Grub towards Holzkirchen. The side collision was so violent that the motorcyclist fell through the window of the VW bus and injured a 24-year-old passenger in the head.
Consequences of the accident
The injured passenger had to be taken to hospital in an ambulance. The driver of the VW bus suffered a blast, while two other passengers remained uninjured. Despite the severity of his injuries, the motorcyclist was flown to a Munich clinic in a rescue helicopter. His condition is stable, but it is not life-threatening.
