On the 2nd Sunday of Advent, December 7th, 2025, the Princely Abbey Church in Amorbach will once again be the venue for festive sounds. In a special event, the Princely House of Leiningen invites you to sing Advent and Christmas carols. The event starts at 5 p.m. All music lovers have the opportunity to enjoy traditional Christmas melodies in the Advent mood. The musical program is designed by various ensembles and choirs. Included are the wind ensemble of the Amorbach town band, the Odenwälder Alphorn ensemble as well as the St. Gangolf choir and the VoCapella choir from Kirchzell. The participants promise a varied and atmospheric concert that is entirely dedicated to the spirit of Christmas.

Entrance and donations

Admission to this wonderful musical experience is free. However, the organizers are asking for voluntary donations to the non-profit Fürst zu Leiningen Foundation in order to support further cultural projects in the region.
